At least these guys appear to have more spunk than the Boys in Waco. Of course it is only May and normally I would have witty comebacks and valid points to counter these amazing brilliant observations but it is ONLY MAY. Wake me up in August when I am more in the mood. Oh yeah, SHS Sagarin rating was 163. They were the 3rd Worst team in Division 1 in the state. Only Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern were worse but I digress.

Baylor? Buncha pansies! As for the Sagarin rating, yeah...we sucked last year. But that was last year and it's a whole new season so just throw that rating out the window on September 16 when we show up in Dallas. Peruna_Ate_My_Rolex wrote:Hey, at least they have Dan Rather and "Bad [deleted]" Billy Gunn(I'm sure a real favorite among the SHSU faithful since he was a profession rassler) to count among their "Bearkat Nation."
Oh, please. Don't mention that liberal a** Dan Rather. He couldn't report his way out of a wet paper bag. S.O.B. didn't even contribute one dime to the construction of the communications building on our campus that bears his name. The majority of us from SHSU can't stand the jerk.
If you want to start talking about famous alumni, well...we'll admit that we can't hold a candle to SMU's Kathy Bates.
However, one of our more infamous alumni is mentioned in the theme song to "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". I'll let you figure out who that is.
And, of course...there's always Josh McCown! In fact, we've already dubbed the game on September 16 as The McCown Bowl.

Pretty ridiculous you girls can't take any crap being talked that simply says exactly what the SMU football team is. So rather than show everbody that reads this board the truth, you have to delete it......what a little baby.

I think you've missed something. It's May. You're from SHSU. You came to OUR board to talk smack. In May. The truth is, this whole thread is ridiculous. We will see who the girls are in September, until then go scratch a post.

Ahhh yes, Sam St, I remember that 80 point/770 yard total offense speed bump last year in West Texas...and the quote was hanging 100 on Indiana State, the third team in the Texas Tech vs. 4A HS competition tour last year.
Now perhaps you guys should be more focused on playing UT in Austin instead of bragging about being cannon fodder in Dallas.

It's Dana Andrews. (yea, I ignored it) smu diamond m wrote:Ahhh yes, Sam St, I remember that 80 point/770 yard total offense speed bump last year in West Texas...and the quote was hanging 100 on Indiana State, the third team in the Texas Tech vs. 4A HS competition tour last year. Flatlander: the quote about hanging 100 on the opponent was the Texas Tech QB referring to Sam Houston State. The Bearkats will play the University of Texas Longhorns on September 30 in Austin AFTER we vist the SMU Mustangs in Dallas. Alex Lifeson wrote:Doesn't Sam Houston have a game before SMU? Yeah, we open our season against Arkansas-Monticello in Huntsville on Sept. 9.
