While I was in school...sometime between '83 and '87. I am going to guess '84. I have a tape of the SMU-UNC basketball game in '84 at Carmichael. I believe we wore those then.

My guess would be warmups. Frighteningly, they're not all that different from what Indiana wore just LAST YEAR.

Going on what M street said (between 83 and 87), the Dean Dome opened in 86, so that would narrow it down to between 83 and 85.
