What's Your Favorite SMU Win Over TCU?

I am showing my age, but I would put SMU's win over TCU in 58 up there as one of the best. TCU had already won the SWC and the ponies were supposedly playing for a Sugar Bowl date with Alabama and "the Bear". It was Meredith senior year and he had a great day leading the ponies to the win. Unfortunately, Alabama wanted no part in facing Meredith and the selection never came.

I may not considering I am old enough to remember the 18 straight or so we dominated you not long ago (in my years).

I am guessing you mean the 15 from 1972-death penalty(86). Hey, we got a few back.

Ha. Y'all have won a few over us that y'all shouldn't have (1997) and vice-versa (2005). I like the fact that the rivalry is more even than most rivalries. 8)

It may go back and forth, but there is a surprise every couple of years, and I enjoy that too, especially when it works out well for us  . I will miss the game this year

Not me, last time I had to drive to FW for the game y'all wiped us all over the field. And to add insult to injury, at the end of the game, I was still in FW!!

But how many of the TCU wins have been since 1989? I think we had a huge lead before then.

Every win over TCU in every sport is a great win.
Beat them in Chutes and Ladders and I'll be cheering.

Who knows, maybe we'll both go Ft Worthless bowling. TCU plays its own bowl [Again...]!
