From the chat with Coach Doherty:
Mike (Dallas): When do you think the playing floor will get redone in Moody? Coach Doherty: We will get a new floor in Moody at the same time the practice facility gets completed. Moody renovation is our next project and we already have started raising money for this phase of our growth in basketball.

There's no danger of having the three-point arc painted in like it was a few years ago, is there? Didn't like that look at all.

Hopefully this time we will design a classic floor that doesn't look like it is designed by Ken Pye or for Pocatello Junior College. Hey but the kids just love it.

We need to design it after the old Boston Garden with the parkay(sp.) floor and small logo in the center.

I have no problem with the running Mustang although its a tad too large. Its the use of multi colors in excessive amounts especially inside the 3 point line.

I always liked the big Mustang. The lane (3 second area) should be a different color than the rest of the floor, the rest of the area inside the arc should be the same color as the open floor.
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.

You're right about that! That is hideous. You gotta wonder who saw that design and said, "That's great! We'll take that one!"

It's the same guy who picked out the architectural designs for the rest of their campus.

I think a parquet floor would look pretty classy. Esp. with a ridiculously large pony in the middle.

the Pony is way too big in my opinion. I agree with Stallion, get a classier look - looks like a junior college floor.

I personally hope they'll use the new font with the dropped 'S' adopted by the athletic department last year.

Right there in center court.
Just kidding.

I think we should paint the entire floor blue with a red running mustang in the middle. Would that be the most unique BB court in the country. Only the lanes and sidelines would be finished wood.
Just send 'da money.

Cool, just like the Boise St football stadium. Only with a mustang.
