one of the few remaining kids on SMU's board rated 5.4 or better committed to TCU. Olson is 6-5,240 from McKinney North. Offers from TCU, Iowa St. Mississippi St., Purdue, Texas Tech, SMU, UTEP, Tulsa. TCU continues to whip Phil Bennett in his own backyard half a decade into his tenure.

Have fun playing in front of 20,000 fans in a crappy stadium @ a crappy University. You could be playing in front of 20,000 at SMU and play in a nice stadium and @ a great university.

Sorry, "owned" would only apply if it were true. "Owned" would be the fact that the smallest 2 crowds TCU played against last season were at SDSU and AT SMU. Owned is the fact that TCU avgs greater attendance at home than SMU could even fit in its stadium.

If SMU had the records that TCU has been having than they would sell out Ford.

Clearly, we need to start doing what Rice and Baylor do, which is hire the kids' parents as assistants.

At least ours played at BU and is a good coach, but yes that is why he was hired. Not many coaches go from 3A to the Big XII.

Not really meant as a dig on Baylor. For the right player, I would advise SMU to do the same.

stallion ol'boy, do you maybe think the fact we have so many young tight ends had anything to do with his decision to go to tcu?

That thought doesn't fit his agenda.

I think owned just refers to the fact we kicked their keesters last time their was a contest. It was the only win where we were totally in control the entire game - was not really even close. Total domination. That kind of owned.
