Also, note the ideas around BE expansion, including folks like Navy, which is already on ND schedule every year. Pittsburgh is also playing them, as well does BC.

My guess is that this could permit Syracuse and BC to stay and let Miami go. Win/Win

I can just see it...A new conference. The Best of the West vs. the Beast of the East:
Religous conflict, East vs. West, BCS....

East: Syc.; Notre Dame; BC; W. Virginia; Va. Tech; Pitt,and
West: SMU; TCU; Colo. St.; Air Force; BYU; Utah

A lot more stimulating than farmers vs. steers vs. covered wagons!
