I'll check, but I didn't see a hat like that when I was in there last.

Thought it might have been Lids but it's not. However, they've got a GREAT selection of SMU caps!

I have that hat. It's black, is a one-size-fits-all elastic hat, and has SMU arced across the front in red.

Bought it from the <gasp> mustanglockerroom people at Ford during the UTEP game.

Lids has really added a lot of hats to their selection for SMU. Just a couple years ago when I was in undergrad they had only a handfull of choices and now we are on the second page. I really like the white hat with red "SMU" on the front and back- just orderd one. Thanks for the link MM65.

I don't like "rally caps".
Turn the thing around and wear it as intended, or take it off.
Too much NASCAR...(Not Another Sport Centered Around Rednecks).

It is a pet peeve, and it isn't particularly rational, I know. But neither is not wearing white between Labor Day and Easter, or a girl refraining from drinking a beer in a cup at all or a bottle if she is not seated.

Sam, respectfully, dude...spin the hat around or take it off.

My wife takes a page from my mom's book of manners with my 9 yr old and 7 yr old. She walks up to a door, and she will stay put if the boys go through the door ahead of her and forget to open the door for her. About 30 seconds later they figure out that she did not come in with them, and they go back and open the door for her. An ounce of embarrassment will create a lifetime of good manners.

Take the cap off, son. You look ridiculous.

I'll have to disagree (respectfully, of course) -- I think Sam B looks great.
Of course, he'll look even better with pads, a jersey and a helmet with at SMU Mustang on each side!

I took this girl in the class behind me to a classmate's party while in law school. When we got there I got out of the car and was walking up to the door and talking to her when I notice I was talking to nobody. I looked back and she was still sitting in my Jeep. I was dumbfounded, but went back and opened the door for her, upon which she explained that she just expected guys to open her door. I stopped seeing her after that. But I do open doors pretty much always now, so thanks K if you're reading this.

Good story, jtstang, but you should have left her in the car. I'm a big fan of chivalry, but I also know what century it is.

After time the car would have begun to smell.

I was not going to say that but since you brought it up, please clean up before using my seat.

I have been known to drive that jeep to the games. I'll be sure and hose it out beforehand.
