GREAT THINGS!

Postby ALEX LIFESON » Mon Jul 24, 2006 6:31 pm

While I was busy calling folks to sit at the Special Delivery table, for the Kick Off Luncheon today..................I was reminded of one of the very best things about SMU. That would be the friends, and relationships made and grown through the years. We love to argue about if a kid is 6'0 or 6'2, but you can't measure how this place can bring friends and family together. Go Stangs!

I agree 100%, Alex. I have developed numerous friendships through the years as a result of supporting SMU. There are several people that I only see a few times a year (at SMU games), but I consider them great friends.

(btw - thanks for the call and the invite to sit at the Special Delivery Table!)

We have been very surprised at the number of emails, and calls regarding joining the Special D table! We may have to consider two tables next year!

The reason this is a fun forum is because you reach out to people and share ,by posting, the good times at the Special Delivery tent. I for one have become your friend and that would never have happened if it were not for SMU and the Boulevard.

Oh, see you at the Kickoff Luncheon and GO MUSTANGS.

Not that unusual for me to have brats and beer on the brain!
Season can't get here soon enough for me.

Does anybody think that stallion will be there? He might need two more inches!

I hope so, he didn't mention otherwise when he was at the office the other day.

I talked to BigTex today. He said he has a brand new grill, bigger and better than last year's!
