Oklahoma St would blow SMU off the field-they are better than us at every single position on the field. We've got about 5 players on the team OSU even offered.

Every team in the Big 12 would beat us this year. I would guarantee that every team in the SEC and Big 10 would beat us--Indiana would be favored. Duke would be favored. Wake is better. In the Big East, we would have chance against Cincinnati and Syracuse at Ford.

Why can't some of you figure out it is progress for us not to be blown off the field by CUSA teams? It is such a stretch to be comparing us to Big 12 teams. Most of those teams are better than us at every position.
Because of where I am from, I have always been a fan of Minnesota. They are ridiculed for their recruiting in the Big 10, but every year they recruit better than TCU (the best non-BCS school).

We offered OSU's second or third string RB immediate playing time about four -five years ago. I think he will be their kick returner this year.

McClown, I am marking the day. You have finally made a lucid point. Now, for even more progress, don't hold it against the Dallas Morning News or Dale Hansen when they say the same thing. Congratulations.

This is very optimistic. The writer states that he loves to see non-BSC teams beat BSC teams. Correct me but we only have one BSC school on the schedule this year. Does this guy think our beating TTU is a top non-BSC accomplishment?

Well good news! We only got blown off field by one CUSA team last year, Tulane.
But now we need to see if it was a fluke or if we really did make progress, here is hoping for the best.......

Just thought I would share this from last years recruiting rankings.
61 TCU 18 0 0 10 2.56 299
62 Minnesota 21 0 0 9 2.33 297
I'm from MN too by the way.

I hate my life. I think the two before this were in the forties. It was the Mason contract thing this year.

Minnesota State. Won a National Championship there and got an NFL gig for one of the Florida teams.

Um .... Hayden FRY coached at Iowa (and SMU, of course). Hayden Fox coached at Minnesota State on the show "Coach."
