Everyone needs to wear their SMU stuff. I'm amazed how many people comment on my cap and ask about the team, the school - (Even when way out of state.)
Most are surprised to hear the football team is looking to have a big year and that the fans are into it.
This can translate into excitement as well as ticket sales.

I was talking to a guy from tech this weekend --
"Oh you go to SMU? You guys are gonna get smashed. Our quarterback is gonna tear it up..."
"The one that graduated?"
"He didn't graduate. This is only his second year."
He was talking about Cody Hodges.
I was wearing my SMU hat.

I was surpried to hear "SMU Fans are really into it" too. Are they storming down the ticket office yet for those two opening home Shoot-outs?

How many tickets have you bought?
I've bought mine, with extras for friends I'm going to convert into SMU fans.

I'm looking for freebies, if anybody's got 'em. Otherwise, I'll get mine on a per game basis.

I wish we had cool gear. We have a great logo, good colors, but lame apparel. I have been looking for a Mustang (horse) headcover. Any guidance?

With nothing but a Mustang on it? Haven't seen one.
But, if it's out there, get the traditional Peruna, not the 'frilly' new one.
Oh, wait.... you're talking about a 'head' like the Razorback-head hat?

I bought my six season tickets, plus the ones we're pushing at the office. I could not agree with the subject of this thread more. I just got back from Academy Sports, after picking up a couple of things for the workout room..... (I seem to invision two people in particular, when hitting the heavy bag) I had SMU shorts, and a Pony cap on. When I am out and about on the weekends, I try to always wear something SMU. I have bought about twenty of those Texas flag looking, running Mustang stickers. I give them to everyone at our company that will put them on their car.
