Kevin Garrett signs with Texans

The Houston Texans' official website reports the Texans have
signed CB Kevin Garrett (5-10, 194), who was drafted by the St.
Louis Rams in the fifth round of the 2003 draft out of Southern
Methodist University. He played in 23 career games, starting one
for the Rams from 2003-04. He has eight career tackles and four
passes defensed. He was most recently with the Kansas City Chiefs.
In order to make room on the roster, the Texans have released C
Kelvin Chaisson.
