Nevada's 'Hail to our Sturdy Men' is also from Yale's 'Down the Field'
The appendage to Boomer Sooner ("I'm sooner born and sooner bred") is taken from UNC's "TAG!"

Note to Mustangs35SMU: Longview Lobos share the same with aTm, right?

1965, what do Notre Dame and aTm share in common? Longview's fight song is the Notre Dame Victory March.

I think Cal and UCLA might share a fight song, which makes it quite interesting when they play each other (seeing as they are conference rivals). It only makes sense for the state of California to cut budgets on their school fight songs.

GAMBLING on College Football should at least get a mention.

How else would you maintain any interest past halftime of a UT vs. UNT game?

They both play what UCLA calls "Sons of Westwood" but each school has it's own fight song as well; UCLA's being "The Mighty Bruins" and Cal's being "Fight for California"

Let's not forget pranks. Like bringing whistles to the stadium, just to mess up the Aggie band at halftime. I wonder if that one would work these days?

That is the list of "Things SMU can no longer do" in College football.

Man. It's a damned good thing we don't grow them ugly like that on the Hilltop.

I'm not saying SMU isn't #1 in that department. I am just saying they don't typically dress like that at SMU. I think you wear that and the Pi Phi bid goes out the window.

And that is just wrong. Those poor girls in their torn and tattered clothes being discriminated against like that. It's just wrong. Someone on this board should take those girls in.
