I bet there are some more of the JCs we've been talking about that weren't admitted either but will sign with teams we play against. But the cheerleaders rarely like to talk about that because its the smoking gun that demonstrates quite clearly just how much SMU handicaps itself. Not all of this can be blamed on Phil Bennett.

if you're an 18-22 year old kid, seeing 2 QB's from one school w/ starting jobs (when healthy) in the NFL does make it a QB factory. are there any other schools w/ 2 ACTIVE STARTING QB's in the NFL? I can't think of any off the top of my head, but i'm not thinking about it too hard.

Kyle Orton (part-time starter) and Drew Brees went to Purdue.
David Carr and Trent Dilfer (part-time starter) went to Fresno State.
J.P. Losman and (one-time starter) Patrick Ramsey went to Tulane.

Anyone know why hes not at marshall? I guess he couldnt qualify because Marshall doesnt want to compete with their regional and traditional rivals. Street and Smiths has him penciled in at Starter for the Academic bastion Troy

Omar choose Troy over Marshal in the end. It was all very strange but last second he visited Troy and apparently loved it.

He would have solved all our QB problems...but no way this kid was getting into SMU
