Thank you, sir. All please note my spelling error, and I am sorry for any confusion it caused any folks possessing the same level of reading comprehension as mr. pony here.

Let's see OU, A&M, Iowa State, Colorado, all of the SEC, the Big Ten, some of the ACC, are paying players. Yep, its time to go after SMU again.

Well so far nobody is going after anything. Until there is something other than a radio show caller talking about this, we shouldn't get worked up.

I have to believe this is going to die away...no way we are cheating like that...when suddenly Ryan Mallet, Terrance Tolliver and Marvin Austin commit then I will begin to wonder.

I agree, that its much ado about nothing. Its just when an OU or UT fan wants to deflect attention from the sins of their programs, they just point a finger at SMU. Hey to all the idiots out there, if you're going to point the finger at another program pick A&M, pick Alabama, pick Auburn, pick Michigan. Just leave our name out of it. We run a clean program now. If we didn't, we'd have gotten DP 2 alreadly. Why? Because we're not OU, UT, Auburn, Alabama, etc.

The true story regarding Bomar is that he failed to work a single hour the entire summer. This comes straight from the OU players. so much for being the savior of an 8-4 team...

okay, so the person that heard the Mark Davis show: when they brought the caller on, did they say "Ellie Mae [or whatever] from Ft. Worth?"
Seriously, someone on another thread said they thought SMU was going to lose 10 scholarships and go on probation....for what? 10 scholies is too large a number for bball, unless it's 2 per year for 5 years. What gives? Rumor only? Reliable source?

Violations started last fall. Rhett would leave school, clock in at the car dealership, go back to campus for practice and meetings and then return to the dealership late at night to clock out.

Therein lies your problem. First of all, your time on PonyFans.com should not be limited to just lunchtime, and by all means, do NOT let work get in the way of your contributions here.

I certainly do not let work interfere with what really matters.

I bet it is true that SMU players are working at Sewell. Last time I checked I believe former SMU OLM Ricky Cowart was the General Manager-I believe that's correct. Anyway that doesn't mean anything illegal is taking place.
