Thought this was funny from their board.
They'll probably claim that UNT grads do maintenance/cleanup work at their stadium & lawn work around campus.
If you say so.

No, they come to Austin for that.

It's fitting that they take a picture of our campus. You probably couldn't differentiate the overhead photos of the UNT campus and a Superfund site if you tried.

That's pretty funny, Eddie P, but remember your target audience is made up of NTSU grads. Dumb it down a little so they'll know to be mad.

It is a great stadium. Too bad the only teams ever to get it above half-full either wear Orange (UTEP and OSU) or Green (Baylor, and UNT next year). Can't SMU hire people from UTA to wear red and fill their own stadium? What, UP Senior High and the mighty Ponies can't even afford their own school magazine!? Lucky that TCU helped out on that one. SMU Football Blog wrote:Wow, a third grader passed his summerschool photoshop course.
And this is what you get with an advanced computer graphics degree fron North Texas State!
Hey, at least NT has such a degree....poor 'ol hilltop has to send its kids to Denton if they want one. jtstang wrote:SMU Football Blog wrote:JT, which one is the Division II team we play again? Is it NTSU or is it Sam Houston? I forget.
Does it matter? I mean if you can't worm your way into the powerhouse conference that is C-USA on your own merit, then you've got bigger problems than worrying about what division you are in.
Correction, the CUSA East is the powerhouse conference. The West has three teams (UTEP,Tulsa and Houston) and a bunch of poor underperforming mini-unis.

Your attempt to bash SMU is pathetic.
First UTEP filling Ford Stadium half way? Psh what game were you watching? No way UTEP filled up half that stadium.
And assuming you are a North Texas fan, you think you would know the schedule as SMU plays North Texas at North Texas not at SMU..And Baylor fans didn't wear green...they wore yellow thank you very much.

Mr. Legend,
YOU are a legend in your own mind.
What, UP Senior High and the mighty Ponies can't even afford their own school magazine!? Lucky that TCU helped out on that one.
Half of the SMU student body comes from out of state. SMU does have a magazine; as a matter of fact, they sent one to me, free of charge, just because I am a prospective student. Hey, at least NT has such a degree....poor 'ol hilltop has to send its kids to Denton if they want one.
Not exactly. SMU is working on computer-based degrees at the SMU-In-Legacy campus. Correction, the CUSA East is the powerhouse conference. The West has three teams (UTEP,Tulsa and Houston) and a bunch of poor underperforming mini-unis.
Correction: Tulsa beat UCF last year. The East Champ could not beat the West champ. And I wouldn't call East Carolina a powerhouse.
Plus, half a conference cannot be a powerhouse conference.

Ohh! An ad-hominem! How quaint! CalallenStang wrote: just because I am a prospective student.
Congrats, prospective student to SMU. If you want to get any sort of graduate or doctorate, we'll be pleased to consider you at UNT (as SMU most likely doesn't offer advanced degrees in your field). After all, $30000 down the crapper every year should buy you something.... CalallenStang wrote:Not exactly. SMU is working on computer-based degrees at the SMU-In-Legacy campus.
Working on. Not "have." Plus, those will be the kind of night degrees the University of Phoenix is offering. Nice. And a campus in legacy? What, buying more land in UP or building a new building getting too expensive? Fine, no more UP Senior High. Now, it's Strip Mall University. CalallenStang wrote:Correction: Tulsa beat UCF last year. Thanks for proving my point.....

Oh really, so SMU doesn't have a law school? Ha! Working on. Not "have." Plus, those will be the kind of night degrees the University of Phoenix is offering. Nice. And a campus in legacy? The SMU-in-Legacy campus is designed primarily as an outreach center to the community. SMU is also working on experimenting with new types of courses at that campus. How about this one? http://guildhall.smu.edu/So what exactly is the UNT major in graphic design called by the way? What's your problem with UP? Thanks for proving my point.....
CUSA East aka "the powerhouse conference"
UCF, Memphis, Southern Mississippi, UAB, Marshall, East Carolina
