Someone should sell replicas of the Doak Walker jersey. Cream colored with red letters, and sort of a thick cotton, like a rugby shirt, almost. SOMEONE has one, since it's in a frame in the football office, just like the one they presented when Doak Walker's number was retired. Even if it's not cheap, those things would sell fast. I know I'd buy one immediately.

Those jerseys are/were white and 3/4 sleeve. I have one (not #37, though). The numbers are definitely crimson. I'll check the tag and see who the manufacturer was. If football ever did a "throwback" uniform, wonder what era we would "throw back" to? Dickerson-James? Hixson? Mac White? Meredith? Walker-Rote? Bobby Wilson?

You know, I didn't mind those when I thought it was a one game special occasion thing.... but uh, when Cavan brought trotted them out again... uh, yeah, no - let's please never see those again.
