How about a tequila sunshiner: 1/8 tequila, 1/8 OJ, and 3/4 simple syrup.

Only if Thad premixes 100 gallons for the first home game.

Ahh... yes, the tequila sunshiner.... num-nummy-nummy... and, well darn about there already being a tequila mockingbird.
I like blogger's "the Doak"... the "of age" bracelets could be emlazened with "W.W.D.D." - "What Would Doak Drink". Or tee-shirts that say The Drink that Doak Built. Or slightly funnier, The Drink the Doak Drunk.
All in all though, I think we should have an official Boulevard drink that we come up with. It would be a nice tradition.

Good lord - anything but Blue C. That stuff is exotic - if hell is an exotic location.
Shouldn't a drink from SMU include goldschlager?

Peruna is a tonic, and it was pretty popular in the late 1800s-early 1900s (especially during prohibition). It was said to cure anything that ails you. It had no medicinal value at all. If it made people feel better, it was purely due to the alcohol content. It is one of the nastiest tasting substances I've ever had. Also, how do you think SMU got the name for our beloved mustang? Peruna, the tonic. "She'll be loaded with Peruna when she comes. She'll be loaded with Peruna when she comes," etc. for the rest of the song, hence our fight song to the tune of "She'll be coming 'round the mountain." 'She' isn't our mascot; it's the train. As to the official drink of the blvd., Beer, Cold Beer.[/quote]

We can hope... but let's also hope, somewhere along the line we end up with an official Boulevard Beverage (and I mean beyond "beer, cold beer").

Any drink called the Pony Express Excess must be given out "free". But you actually have to pay for it under the table!

Now that was pretty clever for an NTSU education.

Since it's that time of the year, how about a Hilltop Hurricane?

The trick is to not overdo it. A little Blue Caracoa goes a LONG way lol.

We are looking at this all wrong. We just need something simple. We need red and we need blue. We just need gallons of Red Hawaiian Punch and Blue Hawaiian Punch and bottles of 151 rum(the cheaper the better). Then we just need to a red cooler and a blue cooler. You pick the flavor. One bottle of rum for every 3 gallons of Punch gets you something like 8 proof. Just call it Peruna Punch.
Now we just need someone to sneak off to Puerto Rico or the US VI and load up on the 151 since it is so darn cheap down there without the tax. I used to be able to bring back 6 bottles of the stuff for somewhere around $6 each. It made a heck of a trashcan punch.
