I have gone to every open scrimmage since Bennett has taken over.. what have I learned from this. well his first three years, i OFF sucked so they don't count.. but after last year and this year I have learned that Bennett will be very conservative and not bring anything out b/c he knows that there are scouts there..
People are probably saying, "oh we don't look that good" well yes Bennett wants us to say that especially the scouts.. I guess I just get so excited about football starting that I get all these crazy ideas about how the team will look.. but that is just my excitement that football is around the corner..
Don't let tonight discourage you one bit, Bennett and Burns will bring some cool stuff out and this OFF is going to put points on the board.. They just are not going to show anything in an open scrimmage...
Reasons to back this up:
-offense did not open it up at all
-defense was in a cover 2 all night.. yes i know that is their base but there was very little blitzing and w/ our speed Bennett will blitz like crazy..

After seeing the Quarterbacks play tonight, the only thing I could think of was " Where is Jared Romo" ?

Do we send scouts to the scrimmages of the teams that we will be playing if teams send them to ours?

This is a GREAT POINT tmustangp. Maybe he told the QBs to suck to keep the Tech Scouts offguard. What GENIUS!

Yup. And I understand he wasn't worried about qb play. He knows and he was pumped.

Yeah, Bennett sends you, jt and Stallion to tell everybody how much we suck.

Actually, I just followed Bennett's quote in the paper about how bad the QBs looked. I could not say personally since I did not actually get out last night to watch the team play with itself.

Very witty there, j-. Good giggle.

i don't remember saying the qb's sucked..i said that bennett has showed that he will not show much in the offense over the last couple of years in an open scrimmage.. because of that the qb play looked unimpressive
