Plus it would seem that would only give more reason for delays with recusal requests, etc.

Yes, Vodicka would try and recuse any judge appointed by Bush.
To me, it is clear the BK court isn't going to allow this to go on its court much longer. They are moving other cases around to get motion in this one heard quickly.

And I guess my thought is that when he appeals that Motion to the U.S. District Court if it goes to the right Judge his appeal will go into the C file pretty fast, and then if he wants to appeal to the Fifth Circuit that bond will be a whopper. Perhaps George Soros would guarantee it for him.

Appeals are irrelevant. He can't afford the bond to get a stay pending appeals. He loses, SMU tears the condo down. Issue is solely one of $$$ damages. Once the condos are torn down, the lawsuit is irrelevant for SMU's future plans.

Which, of course, is better than a bankrupt lawyer.

Not on anything you could access publicly without a subscription that you would have to pay for. Rest assured that anything interesting happens in the bankruptcy case, I will let you know.

Next, SMU will set it's Motion for Summary Judgment for hearing again for the third or fourth time, and the next Plaintiff in line, perhaps Vodicka himself, will declare bankruptcy to avoid it.
