I saw in Austin paper that Sam Acho (#11 on DMN area 100) committed to Texas...at least it wasn't TCU.

Ancho rose higher, faster than any player in recorded modern college football recruiting history because of that Rivals highlite reel all the coaches saw. Coaches use Rivals' services.

DAM IT! If Bennett weren't such a cheap b@st@rd and would have paid the $9.95 a month we could be cleaning up in recruiting. Some one should be fired......

Did anybody really expect to go anywhere else but Texas?

he was leaning to USC a few weeks ago. Looked at Stanford too. By the end of his recruitment he could have gone anywhere.

Stallion, I guess that Mack Brown would not have found this kid if he had not looked at Rivals. Great analogy! Also, where would Pete Carol be without Rivals?

When do you ever see a guy go from a complete unknown to one of the most hotly recruiting players in the country? This happened in a little over two months without him playing in a single game. It's pretty unbelievable. I read that USC wanted him badly.

And Beavis, I think he was interested in SMU at first. From what I understand, in June he wasn't getting any attention. We were one of the first schools to show interest and offer.
