He was on with his kids for fathers day ,and he said he loved being in Dallas.

This K-State backer wishes he could have seen the show up here in SWKansas.
Bennett was a true fan favorite. He stepped in and gave the program some added character and stability when he replaced the defecting group that went to OU. The tragic events with his wife (the first day players in camp for the start of practices for the fall) his first year were something hard to handle. The situation with the family was a real concern for the KSU community, and yet he still stepped to the plate and got the job done (when coaching definitely had to have slipped a notch on the priority scale).
PB and the kids have a special spot in the KSU community and it is one of those things where you wonder how things are going on that side now that he has been gone for a little while.
