Postby rogershealy » Fri Sep 01, 2006 11:18 am

Hey Team.

Where are we planning on watching the SMU vs Tech game tomorrow?

Please let me know! I was supposed to go to the game...so I have to watch it somehow!

Thanks

My bad...I see where you have a leg injury preventing you from being at the game. I wish you a speedy recovery!

I'm calling Fox Sports Grill around 4 or 5 today to see if they might have it. I don't know if it's possible that maybe they can get a local feed from Lubbock somehow, but when I called earlier this week they said they didn't see any reason why they wouldn't have it. Being skeptical, I asked when they would know for sure. They told me to call Friday afternoon when they have their full schedule.

There will be no live TV of the game anywhere.

Have to tune in the Ticket!

Looks like an evening of listening to the radio and watching the game tracker in my study.

I really don't get this. Tech's a CSTV affiliate. What's the reasoning again?

The Big 12 doesn't allow video streaming of games.

That's strange because both the TCU and UTEP games against Tech will stream according to Tech's CSTV site: http://texastech.cstv.com/

None of their *conference* games will. But the SMU one should.

does Tech play Tcu and Utep on the road? If so, the rule might be that Big 12 home games cannot be shown. Just a guess.

Ah, you are correct. TCU and UTEP are road games for them.

Dang!

HA! That's no excuse. Last year I had two broken heels, and for you scoring at home that means you can't walk OR use crutches, yet I still made it to that [deleted] hole college station. I somehow made it a mile to the stadium and a mile back in heat hotter than hell.
