Just got fired to be replaced by Don Nelson. Golden State is a joke for ownership and Mullins is a punk.

Montgomery probably wished he didn't leave Stanford.

Don Nelson was a lot of fun and deserves a heck of a lot of credit for bringing the Mavs back from the dead. Didn't hurt to have Cuban's financial support and enthusiasm, though.

Good luck to Nellie.

I'm sure Monty's 5 million dollar buyout will soothe his pain and he'll get a plum DI job next season. Actually, this was a big pride swallowing for both Cohen(Warriors Owner) and Nelson. Considering that Nellie's "new" boss sued him for $1.6 million, I'm sure it took a lot of convincing from Mullen to make the hire and for him to convince Nelson to take the job. I think that they'll be a few wins better and maybe even sneak in at the #8 slot but the West is the deepest of the two conferences and the lower rung teams did work to improve themselves.

Mullins fired Mussleman who is the brother of a SMU alum. He was doing well and everyone liked him.

Yeah, I didn't agree with that firing. I thought, with time, Musselman could have turned that team around. I think he'll do well in Sactown.

I think Nelson can bring this team to the playoffs and that is their goal really.
I miss Troy Matthews.
