seemed boring - no long balls

pluses - mapps and fitzgerald, the o-line with no sacks, willis not blowing up, emmaul looking like he has playmaking skills

Yeah, that is pretty cool to have no sacks. But Willis had a lot to do with that. He's got some moves.

Without having been there, I'm not surprised the play-calling was conservative. Stud RBs, freshman QB, big hostile crowd, poor weather conditions, etc. It makes too much sense. I would expect things will open up gradually throughout the season.

Correction--The weather was great...not poor. It was 68 degrees, overcast, but no rain during the game. There was no wind and never saw the goal post pennants even move. The ball was dry and our kids should have welcomed the temperature!
