Current and Former Longhorns arrested last night

Postby LonghornFan68 » Mon Sep 04, 2006 12:59 pm

Well, figured I'd post it before anyone else. Seriously, what goes through these kid's heads? I'm not sure which I'd prefer, OU's tainted image or ours. Sheesh.

When they're treated like gods, they act like gods (invincible).

re: Texas Longhorn starting cornerback Tarell Brown was arrested on marijuana and weapon charges. His former Longhorn teammate, Aaron Harris, remained in jail early Monday afternoon and was waiting to go before a magistrate.

I am sure the UT "damage control network" will be in full swing.

This will once again become a big "mis-understanding".

These UT choir boys must have just been in the wrong place at
the wrong time.

Just like with Cedric Benson, the Austin jail will probably be
"too full" when they report to jail in their burnt orange coveralls.

Remember when Cedric Benson went to jail they told
him he could just leave because the jail was "already full".

The investigation could take 10 or 12 weeks to complete.

Then "tough handed" Mack Brown usually suspends
players immediately after the last game of the season!

The charge against Longhorn player Tarell Brown comes as
the Texas Longhorns begin to prepare to play No. 1-ranked
Ohio State on Saturday in Austin. Brown was expected to
draw the assignment of covering Ted Ginn Jr., Ohio State’s
Heisman Trophy candidate at receiver.

I am shocked by how these non stop arrest of Longhorns, are always with guns! What is up with that? Do collect the pistol's at the locker room door?

Norm Hitzges (1310 The Ticket) said it weeks ago,

"Watch out."

After winning the national title. Guys and schools think they are bullet proof.

Hey, think ol' Mack will soon be pushin' Barry Switzer for team manners?

And these are just the things we KNOW about.

I still can't get over the carload of UT precious babies pulled over on I-45 at Madisonville several years ago. Cops said the car reeked of mary jane.
Lawyers got it dropped because exiting a freeway without a blinker is not illegal. Who knew?

What tainted image. You are assuming it was a good image before? As I have said forever - we will know when we have a good team agian when these reports start showing up about us. Nobody wins consistantly without some hoods. There are no exceptions.

Couldn't disagree more. That's giving up.

You don't need hoods to have a top 10 program. To say you do, sends the wrong message to the players.

re: "Nobody wins consistantly without some hoods. There are no exceptions"

Doesn't Joe Paterno have one of the best records
in college history and does he allow "hoods" on his team?
