Ponyfans website slow and giving error message alot

Thought maybe all those pictures on the "look-a-like" thread may be causing this.

That may not be it since we seem to be aboe to support the "A face from the past" thread, but that is as far as my computer knowledge will take me. Maybe it has to do with the economy slowing down a bit.

Wouldn't the pictures on the different threads just bog down the server that they are actually on (not the ponyfan server)?

I'm glad that everything is back up to speed.

My knowlegde of servers consists of:

1. ladles
2. platters
3. large spoons
4. NTSU housekeepers

When not working on films, which currently means during the day... I work for Hostway... THE Web Hosting Company... so unfortunately I know way too much about servers.

Speaking of - web dudes, if you ever want a deal on a dedicated server (or shared) let me know... and we have a 24-7 staff for all your rebooty needs. (we do have colo, but not out of the Austin location... Tampa and Vancouver... really not good to have a colo'd server that far away though, in my opinion... you'd prolly get your shared account out of Chicago - Austin is dedicated only.) But if you want some "ghetto colo" I have a contact in Ohio who can hook you up with some of the worst service in the world. But very cheap and and lot's of bandwidth. :wink:

Now if we can get the forum selection scroll box back on the forum pages, we will all be very very happy. Getting tired of having to back buttom back to the topics page to change forums.
