I've posted this info before but thought it was worth posting again:
Just to help out..... Parking at the stadium in the Green and Orange lots is for donors only. The Blue lot is available for pay parking at $10. However the Blue lot fills up rather quickly with tailgaters. (This lot is usually full several hours before kickoff If you want to park there, be very early.) There is also "tailgaiting" in whats called the Mean Green Village. Its a bunch of tents set up on the rec sports fields right next to the stadium. Obviously no parking on the fields so you have to carry everything in.
There is free parking east of the Collesium and Gateway Center. You can park in any of the dorm or campus lots for free and it's a very short walk to the stadium.
Helpful hint-- Unless you get to the stadium at least 3 hrs before kickoff. Do not exit 35 on North Texas Blvd!!! Although this is the closest exit to the stadium, it can get a little congested. I've found it's much easier to exit on McCormick. Go through the intersection and stay on the service road, take a right at the shopping centers (Ave. C) then cross Eagle Blvd and go into the campus. This will take you right to the free parking. Park in a campus lot. If you park at a business or apt complex they may have you towed.
More info here including a parking map (tailgating info starts on page 9)

So this UNT football guide talks about "high demand" for the SMU game, and buying season tickets to "ensure" the availability of seats...this is just talk right? They don't actually expect this game to be a sell-out do they?

Perhaps. What else is there to do in Denton on a Saturday night?

Well, they did jack up the ticket price for this one game. We do the same when we host Tech.

I'm glad you posted this warning. I'd hate for pony fans to turn away in frustration having never seen a crowd before.

He is not the only one that was always talking about how the Mean Green would crush us. I remember meangreengem, and a number of other nimrods, that were constantly whipping us with the greatness of North Texas. Tick toc......

Fouts field is a dump...and the track around it is horrible. When my high school played there, my 2A high school football players would complain about how their home field was nicer than UNT's.
I hope we show up en force SMU - go 'stangs!
