Your HS game tonight

Postby Big10Ponyfan » Fri Sep 08, 2006 7:07 am

If you are going to one alert the masses.

Going to watch Denton Ryan at Colleyville Heritage. CHHS has a Division I LB in Matt Howe (6-2, 215). He has offers from Tulsa, Stanford, UL-Monroe and UTEP. BYU dropped out.

Howe's father Mark played on the Hilltop from 1974-76. But Matt said SMU is really not involved at this time.

Enjoy your game if you are going.

Berkner Duncanville in support of our Mighty Ram Band girl. Second Is Episcopal School against the powerhouse Saint Stephens in support of my other daughter. Go Brock. Rip up the Saints!

Tried to research St. Stephens. The only one I found was on Bunny Run Road in Austin. Must be the Southern Episcopal Conference ( SEC )

Going to the 96th meeting of the Longview Lobos and the Marshall Mavericks. Longview looking for their 50th win over the Mavericks alltime as they lead the series 49-41-5.

That was nice maple syrup that some of your faithful left on our stadium earlier this week. Gummed up the turf for awhile.

I'd be on the lookout for surprises tonight.

BTW, I am missing the game (too much going on right now) tonight.
You and AK going to SMU vs. NTSU?

I am calling him today to see what your ETA is. The Mrs. gave me my hall pass after our son plays tomorrow early afternoon. I want to go to the game if times work out! I will buzz AK and get the skinny.

Thx.

My boys from Tyler Lee looking to avenge the 2005 loss to Euless Trinity tonight at Pennington Field.

Great game in the making.. the past 2 Division 1 State Champions battle it out!

GO RED RAIDERS!!
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.

Hail Lake Highlands
We salute you!

Houses are better value out here in Richardson. Also less apartments and crime.

I would love to live in some parts of LH.

The 96th meeting of Longview-Marshall should be a good one. It's been one-sided recently in favor of Longview and Marshall is now 4-A, but the rivalry is historic and many of us Longview grads still consider the Marshall game to be one of the most important games of the year.

Cole Loftin. Just a junior and very talented. Defensive end/punter committed to Rice recently, to go along with OL and DL going to UT.

Aledo is a very salty 4A program

Only things missing today is lunch @ Bel's Diner or Carlito's, and an afternoon razzing Rex Nichols about "Book 'em Horns!!!"

I am very dissappointed that Micheal Wilcoxin (the DT) is going to Texas for several reasons
a) i hate texas
b)i thought he might be someone that would fly under the radar and smu could get

also.. in a few weeks we will run into Jonathan Hissam, an aledo grad and DT for ark st, he could have been a good replacement for BB and Haywood next year..

Hopefully SMU is going after Aledo, they are very much like HP, great work ethic, great coaching staff, they just don't have the numbers or a Matthew Stafford to put them on the map yet.. although they are a very successful program.. Coach Buchannon is a hell of a coach
