Who do we want/is available?

Orsini needs to snag a big name like Doherty or O'Leary or else it will just be more of the same. A no-name coach isn't going to get recruits excited.

And please, pretty please, can whoever replaces Bennett have some level of competency on the offensive side of the ball?????

Give me a FREAKING BREAK!! Look, PB has plenty of time to win 5 or 6 games this year. You want to FIRE THE MAN because he lost two damn games?? DO YOU REALLY?? SMU is NEVER good in September? Ever heard of a thing called TRADITION??? I guess you're all to GOOD for TRADITION.

STOP jumping to CONCLUSIONS, OK?? Remember last year? How quick we are to forget....PHILLY is a GREAT GUY!!!!! Come on!!!! Cut him some slack. I KNEW I HAD BETTER GET HIM A FEW EXTENSIONS BEFORE I LEFT. Otherwise, you guys might have been able to cut and run in the next couple of years. Thank GOD I ensured a HEFTY BUY-OUT to ensure the new AD can't get rid of him!!!!!

I will be the first to mention Barry Switzer, Charlie Watters, Dennis Franchione(once A&M fires him), Jim Harbaugh, and of course Todd Dodge.

He'd have to go 7-5 to save his job.

No offense Doopy but PB time is out. This is major college football and he has had his time. We could of won 3 games last year without a few breaks. We need to solify a QB and run with it. His gameplanning sucks. He is a nice guy I admit. Nice guys dont win championships. I sometimes wonder if SMU will ever turn it around. We need a new face. The time is now!

I spent all week defending PB from people wanting him out, even here on this board. After wasting $15 to watch us get our asses handed to us I want him gone. No more excuses, no more "next game", no more "look at the bright side". Orsini needs to clean house...all of it.

Are you smoking crack?!?! You're telling me you'd want Dennis Franchione as our HC?!? The guy has gone 16-19 in 3 years wtih A&M's talent. He is driving Aggie football down the Big 12 pecking order.

If you really want a guy to coach for SMU get Butch Davis. He may not be the best game day coach but he took Miami from probation to National Title Status in 5 years because of his damn good recruiting. He would be a good hire if A) SMU decides to let Phil go and/or B) the AD wants to pay enough money for him

I'll throw this out there, Dan Hawkins. Many more losses for that man and he is gone at CU. Remember what he did for Boise State.
