I asked this in another thread and I still haven't gotten an answer.

WHAT IS THE REASON THAT RYAN WOLCOTT IS NOT BEING PLAYED? My god, Doak Walker's grandson, for crissakes! He never missed a PAT as a kicker at Highland Park High School...in all his years there...NOT ONE! And he's on scholarship, too.

Does anyone know the reason? Anyone? My god...we talked him out of going to Texas Tech to come to SMU.

Coach Phil in all his wisdom has deemed Special Teams not worthy of a dedicated coach, he lets the other position coaches share the duties and from the look of that lame swinging gate thingy, takes email suggestions from 8 man football coaches as well.

It was embarrassing enough on extra points, but now we do it on punts too.

I expect we will see the QB quick kick make its way back into the playbook next week......

This is a perfect example of Phil's coaching ability, after all the blocked punts and botched special teams play we have endured through his tenure, instead of hiring a special teams coach, he implements a punt swinging gate, which I have NEVER seen outside of high school football, hell even the the higher division highschoolers don't do that, class AAA and below.
