if you remember Texas State did fairly good against A&M after they played us so the A&M players were unproperly hydrated too

You forget that the TSU-A&M game was played on a Thursday night on short notice because of Hurricane Rita. Im willing to bet that they probably didn't do a whole lot of planning for this game because of its being moved up,which made it more competitive than it probably would have been with a couple of days more prep.
