Imagine the irony: I was raised a Mustang fan and support the school and its teams. I'm also a graduate and fan of Sam Houston State. It's my alma mater.

The game that I've waited 30 years to see is this weekend. Sam Houston State v S.M.U. in Dallas.

What if my Bearkats are the team that ends Phil Bennett's career at S.M.U.? And also make national news by being another Div. 1-AA team that defeats a Div. 1-A team this year?

Where's Rod Serling....? I hear The Twilight Zone theme music playing...!
