SMU players ranked among nation's best

There's a guy named Phil Steele who puts out a preview magazine like Lindy's, Athlon's, Street & Smith, Dave Campbell, etc. He rates his top players at each position, and there are some SMU guys who made his list for the 2003 season:

Jonas Rutledge - #25 cornerback
Steve Reindl - #40 center
Sterling Harris - #59 tackle

I saw that magazine, too. He also lists Avery Cleveland as the #45 freshman LB in the country.

Avery Cleveland is one freshman I can't wait to see play. Nice to see SMU players getting a little pub.
