SMU football today...to question play-calling, and the lack of preparation that was so clearly evidenced last Saturday...to call for a football coach's head, and to think on things future and past regarding SMU football.

It is a great nation, state and school that we are a part of, and I guess my trip back to reality landed while remembering a beautiful September morning five years ago.

Never forget.

On 9/11 if we are going to count our blessings and remember our heroes, then on my list will always be the 1989 resurrection team that played undermanned and outclassed, but never gave up until they finally won good games as seniors.
