Hard to see how an employee at a private university can be considered a public figure, but whatever. He has a hard job ahead of him...
Orsini is not a 'public employee' but he's a 'public figure' who is out in the public promoting SMU athletics and generating sponsorships for the school's teams. Part of his job is meeting the public and that makes him a 'public figure', just as much as Phil Bennett, Matt Doherty, Rhonda Rampola and Schellas Hyndman are, too. No argument that he has a hard job ahead of him...but he knew what he was getting into when he accepted the position.

My phone call to the AD's office was about parking for visitor's from Sam Houston State this Saturday. I won't bore you with the details but that's all that it was about. Happy?

IF I were to call him today (which I didn't & won't) I would say that I was disappointed in how the team was coached last Saturday night and that I, along with many other Mustang fans, are depending upon him (Orsini) to make the right decisions for the future of a football program that has floundered for the past 25 years.

Now...why are you not using HixsontoLeVias anymore?

I sent Steve an email Sunday morning, the swearing was less than the one I drafted saturday night. He sent me back a nice answer about not hesitating to continue to clean house if the need arises.
