I am trying to figure out how you would actually get that score.

I guess no score through two overtimes, then SHSU scores and misses the conversion and then SMU scores at TD and makes the conversion.

That would be the worst football game ever.

Two field goals for each team and then a safety for SMU in the third OT. Course, the Mustang Band may be the only people left in the stands to see the safety after something that dull.

How wheels off would a drive have to be to get a safety in overtime? You start on the opponent's 25. The offense would have to go backwards 75 yards.

We will still be there

Postby BornRed&Blue » Wed Sep 13, 2006 8:33 am

We will still be there with the band to see the "safety", Me and MrMustang and our girls. We always stay to hear the band, it's the best part of the game. I had an argument one game, with one of those people in the yellow shirts, telling me to vacate the stadium . . . I told him "I'll leave when the band leaves".

I have raised loyal fans, as I tried to leave the UNT game on Saturday, and my daughters looked at me and said "but we never leave before the game is over". What was I to do? So we stayed. . .

Yes.

But I still say SMU 20 and SHSU 13. Does it make me a sunshiner for predicting a victory over D1AA-SHSU in the home opener???? God I sure hope not.

Another one that just doesnt get it. It is not D-2. We are Div I-AA football. And as of Jan 2007, it will be

Div I- Bowl Championship

and

Division I-Playoff Championship formerly I-AA.

Looking for a good game on Saturday!!!!
