The opponent already knows what we are going to do.
We need to open up the play calling and see what our players do best.
We ran the same play 25 times at NTSU. TE goes back and forth like PONG and stops next to QB.
OMG 5 of those time we made some yardage. Not good deception if you ask me.
PLEASE get creative . We have the players. Let them PLAY!
Ok, I feel better.
Time to go to the gym and get my heart rate up.
Go SMU and see you all on the Boulevard Saturday!

Speaking of the tight end lining up next to the quarterback... yes, everyone here would like to see them get involved. However, nobody is going to believe they'll take a handoff, so leave them on the line! If we are only going to use them to block, then the line is the correct place. A RB can block from the backfield because they have the quickness to step in front of a linebacker coming at full speed. Meanwhile, we continue to think up new ways to waste talented TEs.

given our track record with the failure to use "talented" TEs are we really sure that these guys are all that talented? I mean if they were, wouldn't they have chosen a school that knows how to utilize the TE?

To paraphrase John McKay of Tampa Bay's famous quip about the execution of the offense, I am definitely in favor.

I think we need to use my PS2 offense...goal line formation run it up the middle for three plays, then throw a hail mary on fourth down.
