Mosley Fan: Will SMU fire Phil Bennett?
Kevin Sherrington: If they don't win six games, yes. Bennett never should have said the Mustangs should be a bowl team. Why create excess expectations? But even if he'd played it close to the vest, he'd probably still get it. SMU has a new AD. The new guy is always looking to start with a clean slate

I will be at Saturday's game and if we do not win I will be calling for a new coach

I would qualify that and say that unless we win Saturday relatively easily and no last minute heroics required than it would be considered another "step backwards"...

SMUpony94,
FYI...We will not be there, nor the tent. We are on strike and everyone will know on the Blvd. when they come for free "mustang club" drinks. Coach will know as well.

That's the spirit! If the team isn't motivated for this game, it will be -- in part -- because of fair-weather "fans" like this who don't support the players when they need it most. Season's not over yet, folks. Let's get to the stadium on Saturday and cheer on our boys.

Damn right. I'm bringing a party of 7.
We'll have fun on the Boulevard, of course, but you can bet we'll be in our seats before the national anthem.
Go MUSTANGS

I've only missed 2 Mustang home games in the past 9 years. One was the Hawaii game in 2001 for the wedding of one of my best friends from high school. The second was last year's tcu game. The only reason I missed that one was because I was sicker than I had been in more than 9 years. I was going to go to the game anyways, but my friends wouldn't let me.
That being said...
Unless you have a VALID reason, you should at least be on the BLVD, if not the game. Protesting is stupid. What is that really going to prove, other than the fact that you are not a TRUE pony fan?
