Got to love the simplified Offense

Postby BUS » Sat Sep 16, 2006 11:03 pm

I want to see even more simplification if this is what the true definition is.

Is.... the exact other side of the coin.

Forward pass -- Wow
Roll out runs - Ye Haaa
Long Bombs - Crikey

And I do not think we ran that tight end motion DRAW play 3 times tonight. Last week we ran that POS play 25 times.

Great play by the Mustangs tonight.

Better than that.... Great calls from the coaching staff.

Keep the heat up. It means were cooking.

Something to build on. Next two games will not be easy. I understand that Ark State has a pretty good team (it beat Army) and Tulane beat Mississippi State tonight on the road. We will be its first home game.

Shouldn't this thread be titled Gotta Love ANY Offense?

ECU beat Memphis and USM beat North Carolina St. in some other interesting CUSA games. Oh yeah. Tulsa held NTSU to 92 yards and 6 first downs in a 28-3 victory over NTSU. I'm not sure NTSU crosses midfield except for a turnover that led to a short, small drive and NTSU only points. Didn't know that Tulsa was supposed to be THAT stout on defense.
