i know people who know him like him, but not so sure Calvin hasnt had a pissy attitude and writing style for awhile. just look at that blog posting. fact is, SMu had a good crowd tonight and a ton more fans than Sam Houston. there is plenty to carp at smu about without carping on things for no reason.

Hey here is a novel idea, let our own journalist majors cover SMU. We could work out some kind of compensation with the DMN, and also let our students get experience. We could have 20 journalists covering all aspects of SMU.

Maybe Kate Hairopolous is the right person for the job of covering SMU because she's...Greek?

judging from the blog - he was just lazy. how bout something new - an insight - some digging - in journalism they call it - work.
