2-2, 5 more to go for a bowl

Postby BRStang » Sat Sep 23, 2006 11:56 pm

Can we do it? I don't know. But I predicted that SMU would lose to ASU. I'll gladly eat some crow for that. I'm going to do my part again and now predict a loss for the Tulane game.

It may not even be 5 more wins, we just need to be in the top 5 in C-USA and not have a loosing record becasue they have about 30 something bowls this year

I heard they did, their QB threw for 250 plus or so in the first half

Ugh...crow...taste nasty. But nonetheless. Awesome effort and I'm looking forward to next week going to NO!

I'm as excited about the win as the next guy, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. We need to see how we fare against conference competition.

Just like Bennett said:

No more bowl talk, no more must-wins.

Let's take this season one game at a time.

I think we need to think of them all as must wins, and play like they are all must wins. Bennett needs to keep laying it all on the line and realize that with each game he loses he is one step closer to not coming back next year. Hopefully that will keep him from his conservative game plan.
