BTW, now that I have your attention. I thought your line on my post that got taken down last week about giving the Big 10s was classic. I was in tears.
I told a couple of my friends that story and they know my handle, and they just broke up.
Love the wit. Keep it up.
I have no recollection of what I said, but at my age wit is all I have left. Sometimes we all take this stuff too serious for our own good. Hopefully someday we can be good enough to be smug and arrogant about our team.
Man wouldn't that be nice, to not have to be embarrassed when I talk about SMU football to all my friends that went to Texas....
Friend and "went to Texas " is an oxymoron with me.
how about friend who went to Arkansas?
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

I was referring to an incident in my office last Friday,
To which you replied,
"Well, how did she rate. Did you give her the Big10?"
I still laugh at that.

I would be at your place MryDel (even tho I also have the Direct TV coverage) but I will actually be AT THE GAME in New Orleans. Watch for me on TV. I'll be the guy with the good looking brunette wife.
Go Ponies!!

I knew you would be at the game. Just wanted to invite you in case your wife decided to leave you at home.

Now, imagine "wife" and "went to Texas" and you'll get a feel for the 10th level of hell I live in. (just kidding honey)

I thought of you when I posted that. My son-in-law is a UT grad and I have had to learn tolerance because like it or not, he is a pretty good guy.

Try this on for size: this morning she's packing for NO and I see her longhorn tshirt in the case. I tell her she cannot wear it unless she can tell me who they play this weekend to which she replies she's a fan of the university not just the football team. I cannot win.

My biggest challenge is to make sure my 6-year-old and 7-year-old daughters stay away from TCU as much as possible.

That's easy. Ask them to spell TCU. If they are successful, explain to them they are overqualified to attend.
