Yeah, too bad I don't gamble. I think Cougar is the class of the Southern Coast Conference (C-USA)

That's a shame those Horney Toads couldn't beat the Cougs.

It's hard to stay undefeated

Postby Sam I Am » Thu Sep 28, 2006 8:47 pm

I have no love for TCU either, but it is hard to go undefeated in football at any level. The non-BCS schools virtually have to play a perfect season to have a chance at a major bowl. That is another reason to break up the BCS cartel with a true playoff system. Don't you just love the new nomenclaure about the the Div. 1 playoff schools versus the Div. 1 bowl buddies.

I think you should worry less about busting the BCS, and more about trying to get past these next two very long road trips.

It sounded like BYU was the better team. Not good when your QB is the leading rusher on your team. Their offense is the one thing that I've had some misgivings about.

Patterson needs to find a consistent running back, injuries or no injuries.

But with all due respect to the purple who post, thanks for doing so, I cannot and will not share in your frustration.

When it comes to the rival, the two teams I support are SMU and TCU's opponent.

Oh, and the Big 10

overheard from Bronco Mendenhall after the game:

"Well, we just showed you how to beat the Horny Toads. SPEED, BABY!"

...well, maybe it wasn't overheard. BYU looked consistent on O, though. Makes you wonder what was the difference in the TCU secondary with respect to the TTech game as opposed to the game against the Y.
