BE/BCS

Post by EastStang »

I saw a post on the Conference USA Board which had an article from a Pittsburgh paper, the premise was that BCS will keep the BE in the fold because to let them move out of the BCS would cause the Non-BCS schools to have a majority in Division 1-A for voting purposes. That would gravely concern the BCS because they know that a majority of have nots will suddenly vote to make life difficult for the haves in revenue sharing, television, bowl opportunities and most importantly adding the dreaded playoff system. The article indicated that the eight team rule is a BCS rule. I don't have a link, but you can go to the CUSA forum to see it.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

the HYPOCRISY, the double-talking & the 'exceptions-to-the-rules' are NOW starting!!!!!!!!!!!

of course all these finer qualities of human nature makes the validity of a lawsuit against the cartel all the more compelling & winnable now, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but will the non-bcs-bs members who now have this 'majority' show any spine? we'll see!

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
