Where Are All the Mustang Fans Who Went to NOLA?

Postby MrMustang1965 » Sun Oct 01, 2006 10:21 am

ThadFilms in particular...are you alive this morning? I have this godawful image of him laying in a ditch somewhere on Bourbon Street after an all-night victory party at Pat O'Briens!

Where are all the Mustang fans who went to NOLA? I bet the spirits were flowing on Bourbon Street last night!

My guess is they are hugging porceline repeating "what comes up in New Orleans, stays in New Orleans."

some of us just got home. Speaking of ThadFilms, LHFan68: were you wearing a t-shirt bearing your image of the longhorn superimposed on the pony? If not, someone else was...you should've trademarked it.

AWESOME Saturday--2 games in one day with my 2 favorite teams pulling out the W! Can't beat that!

I had drunk so much beer and carbonated soda and screamed my lungs out since 11:30 a.m. that my brain was hitting my skull by the end of the game last night--hurt like hell. But nothing could beat the feeling of singing Varsity with the team and SMU fans after that game. NOTHING!

CONGRATULATIONS PONIES and THANK YOU!!!

I just got back home.

Odd. Walking down the street late Saturday night, I swear I saw this:

Game was fun since we won and the I won at Harrah's. I think I might actually go to UTEP. We are 3-0 in games where I am in attendance.

That was me. You should have said hello. Apparently my shirt was a hit because more than a handful of people stopped me and talked to me about it. Heh.

I'll give a report on the trip and the game sometime later today.

I did yell, but you didn't look up.

I am sure the shirt was a great conversation starter: "Hey, why do you have a picture of a uterus on the side of a horse?"

yes I am back and I am safe.... three nights on bourbon... casino time... ditch time... and now back in Austin. Alive and in one piece... for the most part.

Great time. And the ponies won. As sad as it sounds/is - I cannot remember the last time I went to a Ponies road game that we actually won. So this one is doubly sweet.

All I can say is:

[1] The game was great;

[2] The Quarter & N.O. has a long way to go.
