Willis

This guy is INCREDIBLE! There were at least 10 times last night when Burns would call some crappy play that would breakdown and look like it was going to be a sure sack, and BOOM--Willis would cut and juke and wind up throwing the ball 10-20 yard down the field to a TE or receiver. He showed poise and patience and didn't get rattled. Everyone should be praising this guy and thanking him for being a Mustang!

I'll say this if Bennett hadn't stayed with Willis and had replaced him with a less mobile QB then the story tonite would have been how could Tulane have gotten even more sacks then the 9 sacks they got last year. The offensive line was porous.

As long as we con't to call 2 yd pass plays, we will have pressure on Willis.

Porous, indeed. Both the O-line and our D secondary in the 3rd and 4th quarter looked like a bunch of 3rd stringers. It was like Tulane put in a bunch of monsters in the 3rd quarter. Their Offense couldn't be stopped. Period. I think one TU touchdown drive took like a minute and twenty seconds from the 35 yardline. The others were like 2 or 3 minutes max. :?

Good point -- I'm just as happy as you are that the Ponies won, especially after Tulane came back to take the lead. Always good to get a road win and a conference win, and any kind of win in that emotional place is a good win. This game had "trap game" written all over it.

You're right: "Congratulations, Ponies!"
