Mascot Challenge at http://www.capitalonebowl.com/
I want to see Peruna at least listed in the "write-in" voting. I never see Peruna anywhere. He's not in NCAA 07, not in this competition, not in anything. I hate seeing StuperFrog in all of these things and not seeing Peruna. Maybe the Noid...er...I mean...Mustang Maniac set us back a few years from getting Peruna recognized.

Since Peruna's never there, I always vote for Big Red. Big Red rules.

See the thing is, Peruna kills mascots. He would win hands-down every match.
Sir, shooting-star, sir. Frosh 2005 (TEN YEARS AGO!?!) The original Heavy Metal.

At least they omitted BEVO and the Frog this year. I think they ought to have a spot for the live animal mascots. Ralphie, BEVO, Bill, Peruna, Big Red, Revellie, and any others. Of course Peruna would always win because he's the only animal mascot that (1) killed another mascot and (2) did another mascot's horse (Tech horse). He's gotta be the leader in the clubhouse.

He does aim high (literally) in his romantic aspirations.

Jog the memory:
does Peruna's barn mantle have any other 'roadkill" trophies than the Fordham Ram?

No he'd leave Reville as a pile of goo at mid-field.
And while he only has one skin on the wall, he has had several attempts to add to his trophy case. He kicked BEVO in the stomach and knocked the wind out of him. He reared up against the Baylor Bear causing the Bear to run the other way and break from his handlers. He did knock down a few Rice bandmembers. And of course left a large steaming gift at midfield at Amon Carter when they got new astroturf (my favorite Peruna moment). That should win him the award right there.
