Many have been asking to hear the radio call of the best play of the Tulane game. Here is your chance. DO NOT USE THAT SITE.. it cuts in and out all the time.. A friend of mine at work got this site from a ticket engineer in 2004 and he listens eveyday and never has had a problem.. here is the link...

Mental typo.... but, regardless of the fact that I actually tuned in at the right time, I was unable to hear it... I'm so bummed... darn it!!! Anybody record it?

Went out to the car to hear it. Hope somebody taped it because it was Rich and Swanny gold. Good golly, they are excitable, and when it's for your team that's okay.

I love Swannie. He was screaming touchdown as the ball crossed the 50.

If you don't know how it works, they play eight clips and each member of the crew votes for two; the top two vote getters each week advance at the end of the season to the "homer-call playoffs," and ultimately the "Homer-call of the year." The UAB touchdown won the whole thing last year.

Anyway, this week, they didn't even make the crew vote for SMU. They just said SMU advances and everybody got one vote to let one other team advance.

It really is the funniest bit on local sports radio today.

It will get replayed on the Ticket top 10 sometime tonight between 7 and 9, probably closer to 9.
