From Kevin Sherrington's online chat:
Tim B: SMU has won 6 of their last 8 dating back to last season and 3 in a row. If they manage to pull off the upset in El Paso this Saturday, will you move them up in your Texas College Rankings, or do you need to see more?
Kevin Sherrington: Nice to know the Texas rankings have taken hold in the public imagination. On one hand, you can't take seriously what happened last year. We're not ranking last season. But the Mustangs have certainly been doing good things. The UTEP game is a great test. This is exactly what we need: More Texas teams playing each other.

Could someone explain his answer?
That's spoken out of true ignorance. I guess he forget to look at the Conference USA West standings to realize we have to play UTEP every year because the two of us are in the same division.
This isn't SMU-Baylor or Rice-Texas.
Another embarrassing moment for The Dallas Morning Snooze.

I doubt Sherrington himself could explain his answer.
Or any of his columns.
Or the difference between night and day.

A break for what? Does UH now offer a major in unintelligible rambling?

I wonder when he graduated -- if he really graduated -- if there were armored vehicles to protect the graduation exercises and prevent the deal from going down. Houston zoning laws as mysterious as that school's curricula.

He most certainly did graduate and worked his way through school at a Houston paper. You may not like what he says from time to time, but he knows his stuff, and if you knew him personally, you would really like him, and he is a great dad !
