Suspension Plaqued Year in CFB...

Postby J.T.supporta » Sat Oct 07, 2006 2:01 am

Is it just me or has there been more than an adequate amount of College Football suspensions this young season as we have almost 4 more months of football to play???

I have heard about a suspension almost every day since August starting with Rhett Bomar and another OU lineman being kicked off the team.

From the SEC to the ACC, the IVY League to CUSA, multiple suspensions have been handed down every week for something that most teams specify as "breaking team rules" or "conduct detrimental to the team."

It saddens me to hear about a new suspension everyday and I wonder if coaches are doing the right thing for a team besides being a coach.

The coach is not someone who teaches football but teaches lessons that are apart of life. Lessons that kids use on and off the field.

Lets just hope that during the rest of the season, less and less suspensions are handed out to athletes that make "bone head" decisions and dont think about what the consequences will be.
